Take a stroll around “the prettiest village in England”
Castle Combe and the surrounding countryside contain some fabulous walks. With rolling hills, mature woodland, the meandering River Byrbook and the chocolate box village there is plenty to keep keen walkers busy.

Widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain and one of the most beautiful stately homes open to the public. Substantially completed by 1580 and home to the 7th Marquess of Bath, it is set within 900 acres of stunning ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland.
